Services for Silas Melvin Lutrick, Jr "Junior", 75, of Columbia will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, October, 13, 1999 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev James Carson and Rev Minns Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson.
Mr Lutrick was born in Grayson on February 5, 1924 to the union of Silas M Lutrick and Jeffie Davis Lutrick. He died Sunday, October 10, 1999 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia. He was a retired cook.
Survivors include his brothers: Rev Charles Lutrick of Hodge and Johnny Lutrick of Denver City, Texas; his sisters: Kathleen Rogers, Carrie L Dozar and Eula Mae Poole, all of Columbia, La and several nieces and nephews.

Vernon Lutrick, 48, of Ponchatoula, died at 1:46 p.m., Thursday, November 19, 1998, at the East Jefferson General Hospital.
He was a carpenter and was born Feb. 14, 1950, at Jena to the union of Curtis and Clara Partin Lutrick.
Services were held at 11 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 22, at the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Scotty McDowell and Emerson Sharp officiating.
Interment followed in the Pine Grove Cemetery of Rhinehart under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Lutrick of Ponchatoula; one daughter, Tammy
Lutrick Western of Hammond; one son, Michael Lutrick of Ponchatoula; five
sisters, Emma Lee Sharp of Rhinehart, Margaret Lamert and Rosemary Smith, both
of Jena. Illa Mae Cox of Vidalia and Ena Ewing of Manifest; six brothers, Mack
Lutrick, John Lutrick, Earl Lutrick, James Lutrick, and Curtis Lutrick, Jr.,
all of Jena and Albert Lutrick of Longview, Texas, and five grandchildren.
