SNACK MEATBALLS



Ingredients



1 (6oz) can evaporated milk

5 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

1 envelope dry onion soup mix

1 lb lean ground beef

2 cups catsup

3/4 cup brown sugar, packed


Directions


Combine milk, 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce and the dry onion soup mix in a small bowl. Blend well. Let stand about 5 minutes.

Then add the ground beef mixing it well. The mixture must be moist. Shape into small balls, using 1 Tablespoon of meat for each. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet or broiler rack.

Broil in the oven about 5-6 inches from the heat for 10 minutes. Do not turn them.

Combine the remaining Worcestershire sauce with the catsup and brown sugar in a saucepan. Cook slowly, stirring until heated over medium heat. Add the meatballs to the sauce.

Serve with a green salad or noodle salad for a nice quick lunch.

NOTE: The meatballs may be frozen and reheated.
